On-Site Testing


This test measures impact attenuation and is the preferred test of sports organizations and local governments. It is widely regarded as the most accurate measurement to determine risk, in relation to head trauma, on a given playing surface.


Measures impact attenuation of artificial grass surfaces as it relates to the spring and shock absorption nature of a playing surface.

This test measures how quickly a ball slows as it rolls across a sports surface. It is most common for soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse surfaces.

Measures the interaction between the cleat of a shoe against a playing surface when changing direction. 

The Head Injury Criterion Test (HIC) measures the likelihood of a head injury. The test measures the force of a human head when striking a playing surface.
